ACE’s three-year community project wrapped up in June of this year and we celebrated with 2 community sessions of connecting and learning.

We will be looking and learning about the function and health of the estuary with locals and experts, including a coastal scientist.
This is a hands-on event, bringing together stream walk and sediment discussions from the last few years.
We will be heading down to the Aparima & Pourakino receiving environment, Jacobs river estuary. Bring your warm clothes, questions, and gummies! We’ll be outside exploring the estuary.
