Catchment Care Wetland Development Projects

This fund will support initiatives that not only improve the state of freshwater in the region but also build knowledge and foster community involvement in environmental stewardship through seed funding for key projects around wetland development, and targeted landscape and farm system mitigations.

Environmental Programme

This fund will;

  • Engage local communities and catchment groups in hands-on stream health assessments, fostering stewardship and awareness of freshwater ecosystems 

  •  Restore and connect native habitats along riparian zones and across productive landscapes to support wildlife movement and ecosystem resilience and improving existing 

  • Deliver environmental education focused on native freshwater fish and stream health, empowering communities to take action

  •  Integrate landscape science and farm systems approaches to enhance sustainability, productivity, and environmental outcomes at the farm level.
