Previous Supporters

Thriving Southland is grateful for the support of past partners who shared our commitment to farmers, Catchment Groups, and rural communities in Southland. Their contribution helped drive innovation, sustainability, and resilience across our region, and we continue to value the role they played in that journey.

Thanks ASB for your $3,250 funding to support the vital work Catchment Groups are doing in the community.

This funding brought groups together socially to share knowledge, learn and be inspired, print Catchment maps and update educational resources.

Thanks BNZ for your $8,000 funding support to increase awareness of Southland Catchment Groups in the community and to improve Southland's environment.

The funding went towards growing native plants, holding education days, purchasing water quality eDNA testing kits to community BBQs, and organising stream health testing field days.

Thanks Community Trust of Southland for your $20,000 funding support of Catchment Groups to increase engagement, wellbeing and knowledge in the community.

A wide range of initiatives were supported with this funding, including  recycling and agritourism workshops, winter wellbeing events, educational sessions, communications training for Catchment Group members, a webinar, and bringing specialist speakers to Southland.
